"Headland Light" by Albert Edel, Amer., (1890-1961)
Drypoint, ca. 1920's-40's, ed. unknown, 4 x 4-7/8, sighned and titled in pencil, on thick cream wove paper. Albert Edel was a Provincetown based painter and etcher most active from the 1920's-40's. He specialized in scenes of the landmarks, fishermen and wharves of PTown, and was married to Stella Johnson Edel, an artist well known for her white line color woodcuts.
