Etching and Drypoint, ca. 1920, Ed. unknown, 6-15/16 x 3-15/16, on thin cream laid paper, 10 x 6-7/16, signed and titled, and inscribed (Drypoint) bottom margin, and 12 top margin left in pencil, trace of inky fingerprint lower edge margin edge from printing, in fine condition. Despite the pencil inscription, this is primarily an etching. There may be some slight drypoint work in the cable pullies and distant buildings, but any telltale burr is quite discreet. A small but dynamic and atmospheric New York subject by this fine American printmaker.
