Ponte Vecchio-Evening-Florence- Etching, 1906, Ed. 80, Ref. A.E. Pl. 1, 8-15/16 x 10, light toning within mat opening, signed, titled, dated in pencil, with faint old tape residue to top and bottom edge verso, on medium cream laid paper 12-1/2 x 11-7/8, a fine impression, in very good condition. Roth made three versions of this subject; at Morning, Afternoon and Evening, exploring how the changing light affected the time weathered facade of this historic Florentine bridge; first built in wood, the bridge was rebuilt in stone in 1345.
