Etching, 1850, after Della Bella, S. 65, 12th state, 4-11/16 x 9, signed with initials below the tree at image right and with the printed text in the lower margin, on cream chine colle with a thick stiff cream wove support sheet and small margins; a few spots of foxing at the edge of the chine. A posthumous impression thus, but extremely rare as according to Scneiderman, there is only one known impression of the 12th state; so this impression would be a second.
