Conversation In Blue And Pink by Andre Masson, French, (1896-1987)

Regular price $750
Color Lithograph, 1968, 22-3/8 x 14-3/4, Ed. 200, signed, and numbered 186/200 in pencil, on Arches watermarked cream wove paper, 25-1/2 x 19-5/8. A striking larger print with pleasing colors fresh and vibrant by this important surrealist, who spent the WWII years in New Preston, Connecticut, within an easy drive of Calder, Gorky, Tanguy, Sage and Hare, and several other contemporaries escaping the bustle of New York for the tranquil beauty of the rural countryside. Back in France after the war, Masson continued to paint and explore printmaking.
