Color Etching and Aquatint, 1968, Artist's Proof, Ed. unknown, 11-3/4 x 17-1/2, signed, dated, titled and annotated artist's proof in pencil, slightest toning within previous mat opening,  on warm white wove paper with full margins 16-1/2 x 22-5/8. Tiia Taks Sahni was born in Tallinn, Estonia, studied at Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland, Ohio,  concentrating on printmaking and enameling. She worked at Atelier 17 from 1968-69 with Stanley William Hayter and a large group of International Artists (including Krishna Reddy) in the decade plus following the refinement of the Color Viscosity Etching technique. In later years, Tiia Taks Sahni has worked as an illustrator, graphic designer, art director, web designer, and is presently a Visual Design specialist in User Interfaces for corporate applications. Her early prints are not commonly encountered.
