Design for a Glazed Vase with Nude Figures/Despondant Souls on a Beach, Double Sided Watercolor & Ink Drawing. Ca. 1900's-30's, recto 11-1/4 x 7 (sight), verso 11 x 6-3/4, "Glazed Vase" in ink and signed in pencil lower right, on thin cream wove paper. There are creases and tears to the sheet, mostly outside the subject at upper left, a stain at right center, and age toning and soil to margins. A wonderfully sinuous Art Nouveau inspired design.
